πŸ¦‹A Likely Story πŸ’™ I finished this book while πŸ¦‹A Likely Story πŸ’™
I finished this book while on vacation in the Caribbean and thought it was well written! Isabelle is the daughter of a well known author and wants nothing more than to be a writer like her father and get her book published. Her and her father are dealing with the aftermath of her mother’s death while trying to navigate their own lives and their relationship with each other, and Isabelle finds something her mother left for her that causes her to question everything she’s known about her family and her own ambitions. It is a slow-burn, character driven novel. The flawed characters and family dynamic were well written and I liked this debut novel. The slow pacing may turn some readers away, but I’m glad I finished this book. I gave it 3.5 ⭐️

Wow, this book was a crazy ride! 5 writers are sel Wow, this book was a crazy ride! 5 writers are selected to spend a month at a writing retreat at the home of their favorite author in the Adirondack’s, and they are all ecstatic.. until they learn they will have to write a fully completed novel within that month! The tension and stress rises as they struggle to get their pages out in time, and what follows is a crazy ride full of secrets, lies, manipulation and downright craziness…but it’s all worth it, right? Because the winner will have their novel published?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a fun, fast paced read. I liked the MC’s development and the crazy ride of the plot. It may have been a bit OTT towards the end, but overall I really enjoyed the reading experience! This book will be published on February 21st, so be on the lookout!!
